Denver Broncos Sign 41-Year-Old Marcedes Lewis to Practice Squad

The Broncos have signed 41-year-old Pro Bowl TE Lewis to their practice squad after losing backup Lucas Krull to foot surgery. Already the NFL’s oldest tight end ever, Lewis could also become the first to play at 41. The 20-year veteran, who’s caught 437 passes for 5,155 yards and 40 TDs since 2006, last played for the Bears in 2023.
