Vassell thinks the Spurs had a great season and proved fans wrong about their ceiling, but it wasn't their final goal. "Our goal was to win, obviously. We don’t want a participation trophy to where we just got here," Vassell said, emphasizing the Spurs' desire to win the ultimate prize. After losing, his hunger to win is stronger than ever.
