Devin Williams ‘Open’ To Yankees Return After Roller-Coaster Year

Williams says he’s “definitely open” to returning after a turbulent Yankees debut. Traded from the Brewers, he began as the closer but lost the role in April, was then moved to setup behind David Bednar, and ultimately finished with nine straight scoreless outings (67 games, 18 saves, 4.79 ERA). He admits love for New York also plays a huge role.
