Diana Taurasi Passes Team USA’s No. 12 Torch to Caitlin Clark

Taurasi said she “couldn’t think of anybody better” than Clark to wear Team USA’s No. 12, the jersey she made iconic across two decades. She praised Clark’s Puerto Rico qualifiers and predicted “gold medals on that jersey.” As for who helped make it happen, Taurasi laughed that if anyone did, it was probably Sue Bird.
