Earnhardt’s aura stretched so far that amusement parks named two coasters after him: Carowinds’ 232-foot “Intimidator” and Kings Dominion’s $25M, 305-foot “Intimidator 305,” hitting 80 and 90 mph. DEI’s Jeff Steiner said interest in his legacy was “a resounding yes” back in the day. Both rides ran for over a decade before rebranding ended the era in 2023.
