Memphis traded Brooks away very intentionally as they didn't see him to be a good fit with the culture they were trying to building. "The fans don’t know this, but Memphis tried trading me to the Warriors," said Brooks on Neon's live stream. Instead he was traded to the Rockets and helped build a 'grit and grind' type culture.
