Dillon Brooks Says Memphis “Fell Off” After His Exit

Brooks said Memphis declined after trading him, saying, “They haven’t fell off — like Memphis did,” while crediting Houston for staying relevant. He said the Grizzlies “wanted to keep me” but couldn’t pass on Kevin Durant. Memphis finished second in the West in 2022–23, fell to 13th the following season, and has not finished higher than eighth since.
