Fresh off rave reviews for The Smashing Machine, Johnson returns as Maui in Disney’s live-action Moana, which dropped its first teaser on November 17. The minute-long preview echoes the 2016 animated classic, features “How Far I’ll Go,” and briefly shows Maui without revealing his face. Disney also revealed the first poster. The film releases on July 1, 2026, in theatres worldwide.
