Doctor Told Tom Brady to Cut Both Tendons, He Said No
"The doctor said we're going to cut the adductor tendon," Brady recalled while explaining his lingering groin injury. Instead, he sought a second opinion. "Alex said, 'Absolutely not. Fly to LA for three days, and I'll fix it.'" Brady said the pain disappeared after three days of treatment, adding, "To this day, nothing," despite being told there was a 99% chance he'd need surgery.
