Dolphins Release Two-Time Pro Bowler Bradley Chubb
The Dolphins are releasing two-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker Bradley Chubb, per Schultz. Chubb will become a free agent once the move is processed. He carried a $31.2 million cap hit for 2026; Miami will save $7.3 million in cap space while absorbing $23.8 million in dead money. Chubb recorded 8.5 sacks last season.

Mike Florio: Tyreek Hill Could Lure Lamar Jackson to Stay in Baltimore
“Maybe adding Tyreek Hill is the thing that gets Lamar Jackson to sign the contract,” Florio said after Miami released Hill, suggesting Baltimore “would have [one] on the table in lieu of pushing for something more. So they're gonna be in play, potentially.” Jackson signed a five-year, reported $260 million deal before 2023, running through 2027.
