Dricus Du Plessis Vows To Drag Khamzat Chimaev Into ‘My Fight’ if Rematch Happens

After losing his UFC middleweight belt to Chimaev at UFC 319 on Aug. 17, 2025, du Plessis wants revenge. “Fighting Khamzat is what I’m after,” he said. “I will… stop him from doing it again and make him fight my fight.” He expects no surprises from Chimaev’s wrestling-heavy approach, and eyes an April return for the title in 2026.
