Dubai Boss Calls for Ranking-Points Dock After Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek Withdraw

Salah Tahlak wants WTA to dock points for late pullouts after Swiatek and Sabalenka withdrew from Dubai. “There should be a harsher punishment… they should be docked ranking points,” he said. He called the reasons “a bit strange” and claimed the doctor said Sabalenka’s issue was minor. Tahlak plans to raise it at a Rome meeting with WTA soon.
