Erling Haaland Buys $134K Viking Saga, Donates It to Norwegian Library

Haaland and his father, Alfie, paid 1.3 million Norwegian kroner ($134,000) for the only known private copy of the 1594 Heimskringla, a royal-saga collection tracing Norway’s Viking and medieval kings. Instead of keeping it for themselves, they donated it to Bryne library, asking that it stay open and accessible so locals can read their history and dream bigger.
