Ethan O’Donnell Heads to Marlins in Dane Myers Trade

Miami acquired O’Donnell from Cincinnati for Myers, opening a 40-man spot “likely” for reliever Pete Fairbanks. The lefty-hitting outfield prospect was the Reds’ No. 18 prospect and reached Double-A in 2025, batting .236/.327/.325 with 7 HR and 20 SB in 125 games. Myers hit .245/.299/.354 with 10 HR and 23 SB from 2023-25.
