Executives Told Vince Goodwill That Miami Thinks Boston Is Leading the Giannis Race

"A couple executives I talked to yesterday said they think Miami thinks Boston is in the lead," Goodwill said on his podcast. Now depending on who you ask, either team could be the frontrunner, no deal has been reached despite months of negotiations. The Bucks want clarity before the June 23 NBA draft, now one week away.

Saturday’s NBA Finals Game 5 on ABC averaged 24.5 million viewers and peaked at 33 million during the closing moments of the Knicks’ championship victory. By comparison, the Giants’ last two Thanksgiving matchups against the Cowboys drew 38.8 million viewers in 2024 and 42.1 million in 2022. The 2025 NFL Thanksgiving Day slate averaged a record 44.7 million viewers.
