Falcons Name Matt Ryan as President of Football Operations

The Atlanta Falcons have named franchise icon Matt Ryan president of football operations, giving him final authority over all football decisions. Ryan, the 2016 NFL MVP, returns after 14 seasons as Atlanta’s quarterback. Owner Arthur Blank said the head coach and GM will report directly to Ryan as the team looks to end its eight-year playoff drought.
