Father of Cowboys QB Sam Howell Lands High School Coaching Job
Duke Howell, the father of Cowboys quarterback Sam Howell, has been hired as the new head football coach at Myers Park High School in Charlotte. Howell most recently led Cuthbertson High School and replaces Chris James, who stepped down last month. His son, Sam, is entering his fifth NFL season and is expected to compete with Joe Milton for Dallas’ backup quarterback job behind Dak Prescott.
