FAU Hires Jerome Smith as Special Teams Assistant

FAU has hired Jerome Smith as a special teams assistant, a source told CBS Sports. Smith most recently served as defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at St. Thomas University in Miami. He helped launch the program and build it into a perennial top-25 NAIA team before making the move to the Owls’ staff.
