It was all Indiana in the Peach Bowl as the Hoosiers pulled further ahead before halftime. With 3:13 left in the second quarter, Fernando Mendoza hit Charlie Becker for a 36-yard touchdown. The score capped a first half and pushed Indiana’s lead to 28–7 with three minutes remaining before the break. Indiana controlled play on both sides of the ball.
