FIFA Reverses Its Spanish Language Ban at World Cup Press Conferences After Backlash

FIFA has revised its World Cup press conference language policy to allow Spanish after viral incidents involving Vinicius Jr, Achraf Hakimi and Frenkie de Jong, per The Sporting News. A FIFA official had blocked Spanish questions at Brazil and Morocco's pre-match conference despite Mexico being a host country. Spanish will now be available as a fourth language at all conferences.
