After Feb. 11 in Osaka, Finlay bowed, hugged Gedo, and talk of a NJPW exit spiked. His dad posted: “whats next?…Your eminence in Wrestling is undeniable…ya can’t slow that juggernaut.” Finlay still has Fred Rosser on Feb. 27 in the U.S. With brother Uriah Connors in NXT’s Birthright, WWE chatter grows. AEW remains a real option, too.

Brock Lesnar’s Next Target Emerges After Royal Rumble Return

Lesnar returned at No. 22 in Riyadh, dumping Rey Fenix, Ilja Dragunov and Oba Femi before Cody Rhodes and LA Knight sent him out. Internal rundowns in late January listed Knight as the likely opponent, with a tease expected on Feb. 23 Raw in Atlanta. After joining SmackDown on Jan. 2, former two-time NXT champ Trick Williams explained why he stayed in NXT through 2025 while working TNA. “God’s timing,” he said, calling his run as “TrickNA World Champion” “very necessary.” Williams credited the extra reps and “high pressure situations” for boosting his “confidence” and “charisma.” He also worked the Jan. 24 contenders four-way.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s Women’s Tag Team title match vs. Nia Jax and Lash Legend collapsed when Legend brutalized SKY outside, then reached under the ring. Ripley dropkicked her, prompting a DQ. A table brawl followed: SKY speared Jax through the ropes and through the table, but Legend answered by driving Ripley through the barricade.
