Five Law Firms Accused of $87 Million Fraud Against NFL Concussion Settlement Fund

Firms representing 98 retired NFL players have been accused of scheming to defraud the NFL's concussion settlement fund, with losses pegged at $87M after an audit by Special Masters. The firms allegedly worked with specific doctors to make invalid Parkinson's disease diagnoses. The NFL said it was "pleased" by the decision, adding the ruling should "deter future misconduct."
