Florida State Bringing Back Gabe Fertitta in Key Offensive Role

Florida State is expected to hire Fertitta as Director of Football Strategy and Offensive Assistant Coach, per Pete Thamel. Fertitta spent 2025 as Nicholls State’s OC after previously serving three years as an FSU analyst. He also worked in quality control at Louisville in 2021. The move brings a familiar face back to Tallahassee as FSU reshapes its offensive staff.
