Former Broncos QB Craig Morton Dies at 83
Former Broncos quarterback Craig Morton, who led Denver to its first Super Bowl appearance, has died at 83, the team announced. Morton spent six seasons with the Broncos after earlier stints with the Cowboys and Giants. He was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 1977 and later earned a place in the Broncos Ring of Fame as one of the franchise’s early icons.

Patriots Safety Kevin Byard Wants Reunion With AJ Brown
Kevin Byard says he hasn’t directly asked Brown about the trade rumors linking him to the Patriots, but he’d clearly welcome the move. The two still train together in Tennessee, and Byard called Brown “an incredible talent” and “a true number one receiver.” The Patriots safety added he hopes things “work out” and said pairing with Brown again in New England “would be awesome.”
