Former Panthers WR Becomes a Firefighter

Rashard Higgins, nicknamed “Hollywood,” is a former Panthers wide receiver. “Becoming a firefighter gives me that chance to show up when people need it most: to save lives, or simply to stand beside someone on their worst day,” he said. During his NFL career, Higgins caught 137 passes for 1,890 yards, scored 12 touchdowns, and played in 85 games.
