Former Georgia Player Ahkil Crumpton Found Guilty in 2021 Murder

Crumpton was convicted on state charges, including two counts of felony murder, attempted robbery and firearm possession for the 2021 killing of store clerk Elijah Wood in Oconee County. Police said he shot Wood at a Watkinsville RaceTrac. Sentencing is on Wednesday. The sheriff’s office said the verdict brings “a measure of justice” after a lengthy trial.
