“We are saddened by the passing of Seattle native and former Mariners pitcher Mike Campbell,” the team said on Friday. Campbell, drafted seventh overall in 1985, later became part of the blockbuster trade that brought Randy Johnson to Seattle. He appeared in 51 MLB games across four teams, finishing with a 5.86 ERA. His cause of death is unknown.
