Former Raiders Coach Mike White Dies at 89

White died Sunday in Newport Beach, California, the team announced Monday. He coached Raiders quarterbacks and offensive line from 1990-94 before going 8-8 and 7-9 as head coach in 1995-96. The Raiders said they were “saddened by the passing.” A Bay Area native, White also coached Cal, Illinois, Stanford, the 49ers, and Rams during his long football career.
