Former Saints Safety Darren Sharper Transferred Out Of Federal Prison
Darren Sharper has been moved from federal prison to a halfway house or home confinement as he nears the end of his sentence. Sharper pleaded guilty or no contest to multiple rape-related charges across several states and received an 18-year sentence in 2016. The former Saints safety remains scheduled for release in December 2028 after a bid for early release was denied.
