Former Steelers First-Round Pick Greg Hawthorne Dies at 69

Greg Hawthorne, the Pittsburgh Steelers' first-round pick in the 1979 NFL Draft, has died at 69. Hawthorne won Super Bowl XIV with Pittsburgh and spent eight NFL seasons with the Steelers, Patriots and Colts. He totaled 1,639 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns, while also helping New England reach Super Bowl XX during the 1985 season.
