Former UFC Champs Back Kyoji Horiguchi to Win UFC Title Soon

Horiguchi (36-5) outpointed Albazi at UFC Vegas 113 on Feb. 7, winning 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 despite a first-round knockdown, moving to 2-0 since his UFC return and calling for a flyweight title shot. He repeatedly stuffed Albazi’s takedown attempts. Cejudo said, “Kyoji Horiguchi will be UFC champion by the end of 2026.” Dvalishvili added, “he’s going to get flyweight belt congratulations.”
