Former Washington Pro Bowler Tre Johnson died suddenly during a family trip. A standout offensive guard, Johnson played for Washington from 1994 to 2000 and 2002, earning a Pro Bowl nod in 1999. After retiring, he became a history teacher. He is survived by his wife, Irene, and four children. He was at Hampton U to see his son play Lax but collapsed in the hotel.
