Framber Valdez’s Agent Slams ‘Preposterous’ Allegations After Cross-Up

Valdez’s agent Ulises Cabrera defended the Astros ace after a pitch hit catcher Cesar Salazar sparked controversy. “The idea he’s intentionally trying to injure a teammate is preposterous… his body of work demonstrates that,” Cabrera told the Houston Chronicle. Valdez, a four-time Opening Day starter and pending free agent, insists the cross-up was accidental.
