Francisco Lindor Injury Update Set to Boost Struggling Mets
Mets received positive news about Lindor's calf injury on Monday. The five-time All-Star has started doing baseball activities and is "absolutely progressing now", reported Steve Gelbs. A return timetable is not public. Lindor had two homers and was hitting 226/.314/.355 across 24 games before the injury. The Mets are struggling at 22-31, 13.5 games behind Atlanta in the NL East.
