Freddy Peralta Throws on Back Field, Tobias Myers Starts for Mets

Freddy Peralta pitched on a back field today with the Cardinals in camp and the Mets set to visit St. Louis in their second series. Carlos Mendoza said Tobias Myers would start this afternoon instead. Peralta went 17-6 with a 2.70 ERA, 204 strikeouts and a 1.08 WHIP in 176.2 innings in 2025.
