Geno Auriemma Says He and Dawn Staley Are Rivals, Not Friends After Final Four Loss
Despite years of competing against each other, Auriemma denied having any kind of friendship with Staley off the court. "Nah, not really. We don’t have a lot in common," Auriemma said. He added that Staley was his assistant on the Olympic team and he has tremendous respect for her work at USC, but they're not friends off the court.
