Giannis Antetokounmpo Would've Signed An Extension With The Timberwolves

The Miami Heat won the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes with a Tyler Herro centric trade package. The other two teams in the running were the Celtics and the Timberwolves. It's being reported that had the Wolves traded for Giannis, he would've signed an extension with them. He's currently locked in for next season and has a player option for 2027-28.
