Gilbert Burns Reveals Post-Retirement Plan: “I Want to Be a Manager”

After 4 straight losses, Burns, 39, admits retirement is near and revealed plans to transition into fighter management. “Managers work more for the UFC than the fighters. I think it can help a lot of fighters to do the same,” he said. Burns (22-9-0) believes his reputation & experience can guide new talent toward bigger opportunities, something he feels many managers fail to deliver.
