Golden State Warriors Open to LeBron James Pursuit if Lakers Talks Collapse

The Warriors would be willing suitors if James’ Lakers negotiations break down and he searches for a new home for his 24th NBA season. Warriors sources still expect him to return to Los Angeles, but Golden State could clear the $15.1 million nontaxpayer midlevel, offer a player option, and involve Stephen Curry to help in the recruiting process.
