Graham Ashcraft and Edwin Uceta Extend Players’ Arbitration Run

Ashcraft beat Cincinnati in arbitration, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan, winning his $1.75M ask over the club’s $1.25M offer. The 28-year-old righty went 8-5 with a 3.99 ERA in 62 relief outings, striking out 64 in 65 1/3 innings. Passan also reported Uceta won vs Tampa Bay and will be paid $1.525MM. Players are 5-0; six cases remain, two pending.
