Greg Norman Says PGA Tour–LIV Merger ‘Doesn’t Matter Any More’

On the Beyond 23 Podcast, Norman said private equity made a PGA Tour deal unnecessary. “It doesn’t matter any more,” he said, adding both tours “found their footing.” He argued LIV’s aim was “to give the players more opportunity to make more money” by creating competition. Norman helped launch LIV in 2022 and left his leadership role in 2025.
