Greg Sankey Calls NCAA’s New Gambling Rule a “Threat to Integrity”

SEC commissioner Sankey has urged the NCAA to reverse its new policy allowing college athletes and staff to bet on professional sports. In a letter to the NCAA, Sankey warned the rule “threatens the integrity of competition” and leaves athletes “vulnerable” to exploitation. The SEC’s presidents unanimously support restoring a full ban on all sports gambling.
