Gunner Rivers Eyes 2027 College Football Debut as Dad Philip Rivers Returns to NFL

Gunner, a high school quarterback and one of Rivers’ 10 children, attends St. Catholic High School in Alabama. He averaged over 291 yards per game and threw for more than 3,000 passing yards last season, when his dad served as coach. Philip has now returned to the NFL but will have to wait until 2030 for his son’s NFL debut. By then, he will be 49.
