Matt Norlander reported Veesaar is staying in the 2026 NBA Draft after averaging 17.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 42% from 3 at UNC. Norlander added he could be a late first-rounder, even with “a big NIL bag” left behind. On3 previously pegged his NIL valuation at about $1.5 million, making the decision an expensive bet on himself.
