High School Football Player Dies From Rare Disease At 17

Waseh Sultani, a 17-year-old Paramus High School football player, died after battling hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, a rare immune disorder. He spent weeks in and out of the hospital following his diagnosis. His school remembered him as “a great teammate,” as the community mourns and support continues to pour in for his family.
