Hong Myung-bo Resigns As South Korea Head Coach After Group Stage Exit from World Cup

Myung-bo resigned a day after his side's exit at the group stage, and after strong condemnation from the country's president, Lee Jae Myung. South Korea won 2-1 against Czechia but crashed out after 1-0 defeats against South Africa and Mexico. “I hope that the team will be trusted and loved by the people once again," Hong said after his resignation.
