Huskers Hire Rob Aurich, Architect of SDSU’s Defensive Revival

Nebraska is hiring Rob Aurich as DC, per Pete Nakos, after he engineered San Diego State’s dramatic defensive turnaround. Aurich’s 2025 unit ranked 5th nationally, allowing just 12.6 points per game, a massive leap from the Aztecs’ No. 97 finish the year before.
