Hyeseong Kim Joins Korea’s WBC Saipan Camp After Dodgers Sign-Off

KBO said, “It has been confirmed that [Kim] will join the Saipan camp,” clearing the Dodgers infielder to train with Korea on Saipan from Jan. 9–21. Kim trained solo in Korea after returning late last year and pushed to work with teammates. The WBC 30-man entry is due Feb. 3; final selection still needs MLB approval for tournament play.
