Iga Swiatek Downplays Wimbledon Rematch Factor After US Open Defeat to Amanda Anisimova

After losing 6-4, 6-4 to Anisimova at the US Open quarterfinal, Swiatek dismissed the Wimbledon result where she won 6-0, 6-0. “It didn’t really matter for me. Everybody knows how Amanda can play… I knew she’s a good player. She can play great tennis. So for me, I was ready for a tough match,” Swiatek said.
