Is There an NFL Team That Has Never Played on Thanksgiving?
The NFL has played Thanksgiving games for a century, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have never appeared in one. While the Lions (since 1934) and Cowboys (since 1966) are yearly hosts, even the Bengals, Panthers, and Buccaneers have logged one turkey-day game each. The NFL reportedly skips the Jags because of small market size, limited national appeal, and on-field inconsistency.
